Searching for Robert Johnson

Robert Johnson, while probably the most influential of all blues singers, has remained one of the most historically obscure. CHief influence upon Muddy Waters and inspiration for Eric Clapton and the Rolling Stones, and a whole generation of rock 'n' roll, Johnson is know for ferocity and originality of his work, and for the tormented sensibility that lay behind it.

Peter Guralnick's extended essay about the life and legend of Robert Johnson -- and the time and place that produced both -- illuminates much of the obscurity around the man with out forfeiting any of the mystery.

In 2014, the book will be published as a digital ebook with video and enhanced features.
